1967. What a year! The Beatles release „Sergeant Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band”. For the first time ever Dr. Christiaan Barnard transplants a human heart successfully. And in North Rhine-Westphalia, in Germany, the story of Metallbau Lamprecht begins. A real success story, because the company has grown continuously since then. Since 1972 the company has had its head office in Rudolf-Diesel-Straße in Datteln.
